Meet the Founder
Founder and President of Compass to life, Paisa Brian Savea was born in American Samoa to Parents Enekosi & Sulusila Savea He is the 5th child of 8 kids. Paisa lived in American Samoa until he was 13yrs old. Paisa's parents made a prayerful decision to send him to the United States to get a better education and gain access to opportunities that teens on the island don't have the privilege to. As a youth life was filled with adversities, uncertainties, language barriers (he didn't speak English), cultural differences and traumas.
Through perseverance and the support of family he was able to overcome all of these challenges.
-2011: Graduated High School Diploma (“Northridge High, Layton UT, USA)
-2012-2014: 2yr Service Mission Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Ventura & Bakersfield CA USA)
Built relationships with local communities teaching about Gospel of Jesus Christ
Completed jobs and tasks within areas of need for community members
Community Service (Food bank, yard work, moving homes etc.)
-2015-2016: Graduated Snow College associate's degree Sociology: (Football Scholarship) ("Ephraim, UT, USA”)
-2016 – 2018: Graduated Oregon State University Bachelor of Art, Sociology (Corvallis, OR USA)
Managed 40 hours of attending scheduled practice, meetings, training sessions and competitions while maintaining full class schedule
Advanced ability to take constructive feedback and improve skill sets to contribute positively to the team
Demonstrated leadership by handling high pressure situations as a defensive lineman to perform at a high level
-2018-2019: Undrafted free agent National Football League (NFL) Missouri Kansas City Chiefs
-2019-2022: Pathways Family Service (Program Field Director)

Paisa moved back to American Samoa end of 2022 and made his way to Apia Samoa where he established a plantation located in Letogo, Samoa on the top of a prestigious mountain, Mauga Fiafia. Compass to life (CTL) has farmed a community-based plantation growing local vegetation Taro, Bananas, Coconut, Cucumber, Tomatoes etc. All food grown in this plantation has been %100 donated to local families, community groups and church organizations. This plantation has been able to create jobs and healthy free organic food for families in need. Compass to Life will continue to encourage self-reliance and community development in strengthening home and families!

Community Integration Based Programs
Community based programs enable youth to build on their own strengths and capacities to promote self awareness and chrachter building. While these programs come in different forms, they have a common goal of increasing the level of personal growth and stability while learning to govern their selves in the community.
Weekly mental and behavioral therapy to ensure personal growth for our youth. This will help Compass stay individual focused and ensure we are meeting needs and addressing and providing proper care to provide the best results for individuals needs and personal care.
